Paper Talk: Chelsea target closes in on move to Juventus as the Old Lady line up Liverpool midfielder as an alternative to Matic

Juventus are edging closer to completing a deal for Fiorentina play-maker Federico Bernardeschi. The 23-year-old, who had been a target for Premier League champions Chelsea has not travelled with the rest of the squad to their pre-season training camp in Moena as his representatives continue to negotiate with Bianconeri chiefs over a summer move.
 
According to Corriere dello Sport this morning, the two clubs are still a little way apart on their valuation of the player; Fiorentina want €50M for their young star, Juventus are ready to offer €40M plus around €7M bonus and the journal expects business to be concluded early next week.

Staying with Juventus, their quest for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic may have taken another twist. Corriere dello Sport claims that the Bianconeri are not prepared to meet the West London club’s €45M asking price and the journal reports they may now turn their attentions to Liverpool’s Emre Can.


​Torino ace Andrea Bellotti has met with the clubs president Urbano Cairo to discuss his future. The 23-year-old has been the subject of huge speculation with the patron maintaining that his star striker still has the €100M release clause for clubs outside of Italy. Gazzetta dello Sport states that AC Milan remain in pole-position to grab his signature.


Milan boss Vincenzo Montella also wants to bring Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic to the San Siro. Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the 28-year-old, who is also wanted by clubs in China, is wanted by the Rossoneri despite their chase for Belotti.


​Lazio are in the hunt for out of favour Milan striker Carlos Bacca. The 30-year-old is surplus to requirements at his current club and the side from the capital look set to make their move (Gazzetta).


 
Roma are closing in on Manchester City full-back Aleksander Kolarov. The 31-year-old Serbian will reportedly move to the Italian capital for a fee of €6M with the player signing a three-year deal with the club (Corriere dello Sport).
