PAPER TALK: Darmian to Inter depends on Mou, Matuidi ‘not happy’ says Deschamps

The arrivals of Joao Mario and Gabigol are not going to be the last ones at Inter. The nerazzurri are in transfer talks with Chelsea for Cesc Fabregas who has been offered in exchange for Marcelo Brozovic.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Franck De Boer wants to sign a new fullback and the Dutch boss has set sights on Man Utd’s Matteo Darmian who is struggling to get some game time under Jose Mourinho at the Old Trafford.

If the Special One agrees to sell the Italy International on loan, Inter will get Darmian before the end of the transfer window, otherwise the former Torino man, will spend six more months at least at the Old Trafford.

Meantime, Juventus should be still hopeful to sign French midfielder Blaise Matuidi or, at least, that’s what Les Blues boss and Juventus legend Didier Deschamps claims.

During a very interesting interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Deschamps stated: “If Blaise stays in Paris, that’s good to me. He would have no problem to get game time at Juventus and I don’t think he’s happy in the current situation. If the two clubs find agreement I’d have no problems to allow him to travel to Turin to undergo medical.”

Matuidi is Juventus’ number one choice for midfield reinforcement, but hopes of signing the 29-year-old evanished last week when PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi claimed that he is not going to sell Matuidi and is going to offer him a contract extension.
