Paper Talk - €57m too much for Man United target, Arsenal offer new deal to wantaway

Manchester United may not be signing Ivan Perisic after all.

The Independent writes, however, that Inter want £50 million (€57m) for their man, £15m more than what the Red Devils are ready to pay.

Recent reports had the transaction being carried out on the basis of a £40m sale, but Inter’s need for quick cash because of FFP problems could cause them to ask for more.

Arsenal are set to make a major offer for Alexis Sanchez, according to the Telegraph.

The Gunners want to offer their star winger €320.000 a week, or €15.5 million a year.
His current deal expires in 2018, and they need to ward off the interest of Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
