PAPER TALK: Fabregas offered to Inter, Napoli closing in on Maksimovic

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Chelsea have offered Inter Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The Spaniard is believed to be on Antonio Conte’s list of departures, so much so the former Arsenal man did not start in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Burnely and sat on the bench for the whole game.

Inter can’t afford Fabregas’salary, but Chelsea would be open to pay part of the player’s wages. Inter have taken time and will make new contact with Chelsea in the next few hours. Real Madrid and Juventus are also being linked with welcoming the services of the 29-year-old.

Meantime Napoli are close to signing Torino centre-back Nikola Maksimovic whose price-tag is believed to be around € 30 million.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have offered € 26 million plus € 4 million bonus, but what could favourite a positive end of negotiations is Napoli’s will to sell Valdifiori to the granata, with Sinisa Mihajlovic who is known to be a long time target of the former Empoli playmaker.

Torino want to sign him on a loan deal with € 4 million option to buy, Napoli want the buy-out clause to be compulsory at the end of the season.

If the two parties agrees the Valdifiori deal, Maksimovic will be free to joining the San Paolo.
