Paper Talk: Inter linked with Chelsea and Man Utd midfielders, Dybala says no to Barcelona

Inter are looking for some midfield reinforcement and, according to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, two Premier League midfielders are on the Serie A giants’ sights.

The first one is John Obi Mikel who is under contract with Chelsea and is being heavily linked with leaving the Stamford Bridge in January. According to the Italian paper, the South-West London club have offered the Nigeria International to Inter, though the nerazzurri top transfer target is Lassana Diarra, a former Chelsea midfielder.

Man Utd’s Morgan Schneiderlin is also on Stefano Pioli’s watchlist, but the salary of the French midfielder is just too high for Inter to be matched in January as the Seire A giants must stick with the FFP rules.

Meantime, Paulo Dybala has released a very interesting interview with Corriere dello Sport revealing that he’s not willing to move to Barcelona and that his former teammate Paul Pogba misses Juventus.

“Messi is my idol, when I played with him for the first time it was an incredible emotion but Barcelona transfer links are only gossip. I’m happy to be here and I want to stay for very long time. My shirt number is and will only be 21, when I arrived I could have taken the no.7 but that was wanted by Morata, I went for the one who belonged to Pirlo.”

“I’m still talking to Pogba, we are missing him for his quality on the pitch and his jokes in the dressing room. However, he misses us as well, just look at our position in the table and the one of Manchester United.”
