PAPER TALK: Inter rival Juve for wonderkid, Ranieri confirms Arsenal interest for Vardy

Arsenal are willing to pay Jamie Vardy’s € 38 million release clause, British media claimed yesterday. According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that the Gunners are interested in welcoming the England International’s services and are willing to meet the player’s release fee.

Aresene Wenger was spotted at Wembley to see the Three Lion’s friendly game against Portugal on Thursday and he reportedly met the English striker after the game. The 29-year-old’s arrival at the Emirates could convince Theo Walcott to hand transfer request to the Gunners.

La Gazzetta dello Sport also reports that Inter have joined Juventus, Real Madrid and Arsenal in race to sign Boca Junior’s Rodrigo Bentancur. The Old Lady has an option to sign the player expiring next summer and Inter have reportedly put on the table an offer in the region of € 6 million, though Boca Juniors want at least € 9 million to allow the player’s departure from La Bombonera.
