Piersilvio and Marina Berlusconi pushing for AC Milan sale
Silvio, who’s been running the club for the last 30 years is still not convinced by the opportunity of selling a majority share in the club, though his son Piersilvio and his daughter Marina are pushing to sell the club.
After Fininvest agreement of the club’s sale, Mr. Berlusconi was expected to pen an exclusive negotiation agreement by Wednesday, but the Italian entrepreneur has yet to close a preliminary deal with a group of anonymous Chinese investors represented by former American banker Sal Galatiolo.
According to a host of sources based in Italy, Silvio Berlusconi is waiting for Finivest’s report on the Chinese group interested in taking over at the club. If they offer the right guarantees, Berlusconi might agree to the club’s sale.
