'Pirlo won't join Inter' Mancini says

    • M.G.
During a long interview given to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan head coach Roberto Mancini made some interesting comments regarding the transfer market:

“Now we have to do our best until December 20th, then we’ll see if the transfer market has someone that can help the team. It’s not easy to change a team in January: we need players that can get used to the new environment quickly and who can make a difference”

Regarding the possibility of obtaining Andrea Pirlo, the former Manchester City manager said: “He’s strong, but we never talked to him. We are not thinking about a reinforcement for the midfield.

"Biglia? I don’t think so. We may need somebody at other positions. A winger like Bellarabi? He’s a good player, he plays in the Champions League with Bayer and it’s difficult to sign him in January. Regrets about Perotti? Yes, because he’s very good, but it wasn’t easy to sign him”
