PSG full-back to leave PSG after Coaching bust-up, Barcelona on horizon

PSG full-back Serge Aurier looks to be on his way out of the Parc des Princes, with Barcelona a possible destination, Sport confirm (via Le10Sport).

L’Equipe further confirms that the right-back is headed for the exit after angering Coach Unai Emery last weekend when, in a game against Lorient, it took him a full eight minutes to get ready to enter the game as a substitute, angering his gaffer.

Yet Aurier has not been punished, and Sport think that this is owed to transfer interest. The Parisians don’t want their man’s value to plummet, and hope to ensure this by not sanctioning the Ivorian again.

Aurier got into trouble last season for calling out many team-mates and Coach Laurent Blanc on Periscope, and also got arrested for getting into an altercation with police.

Belgian international Thomas Meunier is now ahead of the Ivorian in the hierarchy anyway, but PSG don’t want Aurier to be a complete sunk cost, having spent €10m on the 24-year-old in 2014.
