PSG think of former Man City and Man Utd managers to replace under fire boss Unai Emery

Unai Emery’s PSG future is in serious doubt after that the Ligue1 giants suffered their 4th defeat to Guingamp. PSG sit third in the Ligue1 table four points behind leaders OGC Nice that also have one match in hand.

PSG haven’t even manage to win their Champions League group stage finishing second behind Arsenal. Unai Emery’s side have been drawn with Barcelona in the knock-out stage, not the easiest rival to face.

PSG’s director of sport Patrick Kluivert is considering the future of the former Sevilla manager who could be sacked during the Christmas break. The Ligue1 giants have shortlisted some candidates who could take over at the club if the Spanish tactician is sacked.

Former Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal is one of the names on Kluivert’s agenda even if the Dutchman wants a role as a proper manager and wants to play an active part in transfer negotiations as well. Another hot name shortlisted by Kluivert is former Inter and Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

Both the Italian and the Dutch tactician have an international pedigree that could help the team to gain some more self-confidence to come back in the race for the French title and to become credible contenders Barcelona contenders in the last 16 stage of the Champions League.
