PSG told Juve, Barca target that he's indispensable

PSG have told Marco Verratti that he’s an indispensable part of their future plans, according to reports from France.

Le Parisien reveal that there was a meething on Thursday between the Italian and the Ligue 1 giants. The 24-year-old has been chased by Barcelona, Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Things haven’t gone well between the two since the start of this year, with Verratti’s camp dropping numerous hints or leaked stories that he would leave, that he would ‘eventually’ return to Serie A, that he considered Carlo Ancelotti to be a father and that he dreamt of a move to Real Madrid, among other things.

The meeting probably didn’t go too well, if what Donato Di Campli, Verratti’s agent, is anything to go by.

Speaking the following day, the Italian agent made a pejorative comparison with one of the 24-year-old’s suitors, Juventus.

“It’s pretty much clear that money isn’t enough, that [teams] need appeal, and in the last four/five years the French club haven’t done much to increase theirs,” Di Campli said.

“Juventus are far more attractive, because Champions are attracted to winning teams”.
