    Raiola: ‘Ibra wanted Napoli move’

Here we go again. Mino Raiola, one of the most powerful football agent out there, hits the headlines again.

Talking to Radio CRC, Paul Pogba, Marek Hamsik and Gialuigi Donnarumma’s representative, revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, another star player in his client list, wanted to end his career at Napoli.

“A player who decides to move to Napoli needs to have a very strong personality and once Zlatan told me that he would have loved to end his playing career at the Stadio San Paolo. Unfortunately he wouldn’t fit Aurelio De Laurentiis’ project at the club.”

Oddly, Napoli are one of the few sides in Europe that cannot regret not having Ibrahimovic in their squad as the Azzurri are enjoying Gonzalo Higuain’s bright start to the season. The Argentinean has netted 14 goals in 17 seasonal games this term.

Raiola was also asked about Marek Hamisk’s future, but there is little doubt that his words won’t make Napoli’s supporters full of joy.

“I think he should leave the club in order to find new motivation”, Raiola told the Italian journalists.

The Slovakia international was linked with a Juventus move last summer and the Partenopei’s fans hope that Raiola won’t instigate the player’s San Paolo exit in the future.
