Real Madrid get serious about Aguero

The future of Sergio Aguero in the Premier League is up in the air. Pep Guardiola did not start the Argentinean striker in the mid-week Champions League defeat against Barcelona, sparking controversies amid a possible departure of El Kun who had an amazing start to the season before picking up a three-match man.

Aguero, 28, has 11 goals in 10 games, but according to Mundo Deportivo, that’s not enough for the Guardiola to keep the Argentinean in the squad.

The Spanish paper claims that Real Madrid are willing to put big money on the table if the two-transfer window ban is withdrawn.

Guardiola, however, claimed yesterday that ‘if Aguero decides to leave Manchester City, it will be his own decision’.

Aguero switched Spain with England in 2011, when he moved from Atletico Madrid to Man City in a € 40 million deal.

Aguero has 147 goals in 218 games with the Etihad outfit.
