Real Madrid legend to sign two-year deal with PSG

After 10 years in the Spanish capital, Portuguese international Pepe is about to say farewell to Real Madrid. The 34-year-old, who announced earlier this year that he would be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season, if the club refused to offer him a new two-year extension, looks to be heading to France to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Spanish sports daily Marca writes that PSG boss Unai Emery has convinced the player to sign a two-year deal in the French capital when it seemed as though his future was going to lie in Italy with Inter Milan.

The journal states that business was concluded on Saturday night in Cardiff at the Champions League Final when the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes met with PSG supremo Nasser Al Khelaifi. Now it’s understood that there are just the formalities to go through before the player is unveiled to the media to begin the next chapter in a trophy laden career.
