According to Don Balon, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is planning to unveil a new galactico signing just before the transfer window closes at the end of August. The portal claims that the player in question will be Chelsea’s Eden Hazard; the man coach Zinedine Zidane wants above all others this summer.
 

The 26-year-old has been the subject of huge speculation in recent months with the Spanish giants reportedly prepared to temp the Premier League champions to sell by offering £100M for their star player.
 

Hazard, who is recovering from a broken ankle picked up on international duty with Belgium, hinted in a recent interview that he would consider a move to the Santiago Bernabeu if an official approach was made. Perez, knowing the Blues boss Antonio Conte is interested in his Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, looks set to test the Italian’s resolve by offering the 24-year-old as part of the deal.
 

It’s understood that Perez is prepared to be patient to get his man and is prepared to take it right down to the wire to ensure he gives Zidane the perfect gift ahead of the new campaign.
