Real Madrid’s Mbappé signing depends on the future of Man Utd and Chelsea target

Real Madrid dream of signing Monaco star Kylian Mbappé who is arguably the most promising striker in Europe at the moment. Scorer of 24 goals in all competitions during the 2016/17 campaign, the 18-year-old French star is one of the most wanted footballers out there although the player has reportedly decided to join Real Madrid.

According to reports in Spain, the future signing of Mbappe by Real Madrid depends on the future of James Rodriguez, a top Manchester United and Chelsea target. If Real Madrid manage to sell James for € 75 million this summer, they will sign Mbappé for € 90 million straight afterwards.

It is not to be taken for granted, however, that clubs interested in James will match Real Madrid’s asking price given that the Colombian has never been a starter during Zinedine Zidane’s spell in charge of Real Madrid. If the Champions League winners fail to sell the Colombian in the summer they will be forced to sign Mbappé next summer.
