REPORT: Inter target Belgian midfield goal machine
According to reports, Inter have targeted attacking midfielder Hans Vanaken. The Belgian talent scored Club Brugge’s second in yesterday's 2-0 win over KV Oostende, allowing the Blauw en Zwart to take sole control of first place.
The 23-year-old obtained cult hero status in Lokeren when he netted twice against big guns Anderlecht… on his top flight debut! (here’s his first goal).
Though there was talk of him moving to the Mauves, Vanaken ended up transferring to Club Brugge instead, where he has scored three goals so far this season in the Jupiler League.
The Nerazzurri would, potentially, be adding a player with a remarkable eye for goal: 19 goals in one’s first two top flight seasons are no fluke, and it was thanks to Vanaken that Lokeren were able to come a stunning fifth two seasons ago, and a decent eighth last time round.
