    REPORT: Juve's plan for Cavani

The 29-year-old forward Edinson Cavani is intended to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season. The Uruguay international is not in great terms with his current coach Laurent Blanc, and the fact that the latter has extended his deal with the French club has convinced the former Napoli man that it’s definitely time to try a new experience.

Many clubs are then observing Cavani, and one of them is Juventus. As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, during the last transfer window, the bianconeri have offered Mario Mandzukic plus €20 million to the Ligue 1 defending champions. By that time, PSG were dealing with the situation of Ezequiel Lavezzi, so their answer was negative.

Could the situation change during the next summer? Yesterday, the Piedmont’s club CEO Giuseppe Marotta told Gr Parlamento that Juve can’t afford to sign the Uruguayan forward. In the reality, the bianconeri are already planning his signing. Cavani earns €8 million for season, and his contract will expire in June 2018: Juve could offer him a four-year deal at €7 million per season.
