    REPORT: Manchester City keen on Inter striker Mauro Icardi

    Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi is going through a difficult moment: the Argentine is no longer a key player for his boss Roberto Mancini, and has scored only four goals during the current season. However, the former Sampdoria man remains a target for some important English clubs; Arsenal are thinking about the 22-year-old for the next season, but, in that case, the Gunners would have to compete with Manchester City.
    As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Citizens’ boss Manuel Pellegrini needs a center forward, and his club is ready to offer €40 million to the nerazzurri to obtain the Argentina international.
    Icardi remains in any case uncertain about his future: he wouldn’t like to quit Milan as he doesn’t want his family to move. By the way, also the Lombard club is quite sceptic about renouncing to one of its top players.
