    REPORT: Roma to meet Totti for contract's renewal

    In Rome, they already call it the Totti-day: in the next hours, AS Roma president James Pallotta –who has arrived yesterday- will meet the team’s captain to talk about the possibility to extend his contract, currently expiring at the end of the season.
    Francesco would like to keep on playing, and, of course, he is not asking to be a starter. However, the 40-year-old still feels like a footballer, and he’s not ready to start a career as an executive.
    As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, Pallotta is ready to accomplish Totti, but he can offer him €2,5 million per season at the most, while the player currently earns €5 million. If he will accept, he could remain in the team for another season; otherwise, there could be a definitive rupture.
