According to Calciomercato.com, an agreement has been reached, with only a few details and officiality still missing. Lucas Biglia is a step away from wearing the Milan jersey. This evening and into tomorrow morning, the Argentine midfielder will leave Lazio to Auronzo di Cadore for Milan, where he will go through his official visits and sign a contract spanning until 2020 worth 3.5 million EUR per year with the Rossoneri club. In the end Lotito was satisfied, Lazio will get nearly 16 million EUR plus an additional 4 in bonuses.

This continues an unbelievable summer market for the new look Chinese Milan. Biglia adds now to their list of major summer signings behind Kessie, Mustacchio, Rodriguez, Andre Silva, Calhanoglu, Conti, and Borini. Add to this Donnarumma’s extension and the possibility of Bonucci arriving from Juventus and credit must be given to Milan for their prowess and expertise in closing deals. The responsibility will soon fall on Montella to organize the squad to its maximum capability, and luckily the experience of Lucas Biglia as a centerpoint will allow him some space to breathe.
