    Resurgent Cerci fires broadside at Milan fans on social media

    Alessio Cerci is back! After a dire time with both Atletico Madrid and AC Milan, the former Torino hitman is back to playing at a high level with Genoa. in eight games, he's scored twice and made one assist. What made things worse at Milan was the online harassment he got from Rossoneri fans, which forced him to close his social media accounts after Milan's home defeat to Bologna. 

    Even his wife, Federica Riccardi was forced to do the same. That's the same wife who had posted that Cerci was moving "to the football that matters" with his transfer to Atletico Madrid. 

    With his return to the limelight (he assisted Luca Rigoni's winner against Empoli yesterday) , it looks like Cerci is settling a few scores. His return to instagram today was marked with the following message: "I return to Instagram to post this picture, a picture of a nice Sunday with a win for Genoa. I do it to thank Genoa fans, because they're real fans, and they help you regain that never-say-die spirit". 

    Surprise, surprise, Milan fans responded by... attacking him again.
