Revealed: Diego Costa could join Atletico Madrid via AC Milan

AC Milan are looking to sign at least one new striker this summer and the names of Nikola Kalinic and Andrea Belotti are not the only ones on the rossoneri summer shopping list. According to reports in Italy (via as), AC Milan are also considering signing out of favour Chelsea star Diego Costa.

The Spaniard has been told not to be on Antonio Conte’s plans for next season and his agent Jorge Mendes is offering the player to every top European clubs.

Mendes is now on very good terms with AC Milan given that one of his best clients (Andre Silva) has just joined the San Siro hierarchy.

According to La Repubblica, Mendes has offered Diego Costa to AC Milan with the Spain star who could join the Serie A giants in a six-month loan move before joining Atletico Madrid in a permanent deal from January 2018.

Atletico Madrid, in fact, have been banned from signing new players until the winter transfer window begins.
