Revealed: new Chelsea signing having his medical in Los Angeles
The Germany International was believed to be in the capital of England yesterday but a report of Sky Sport has revealed that the Germany International is currently on holiday in the USA where he will have his medical tests ahead of completing a move to South West London.
As we reported yesterday, the player will cost Chelsea € 35 million plus € 4 million in bonuses. The 24-year-old was also a transfer target of Manchester City but he has eventually decided to move to London where Antonio Conte had been chasing him for one year.
The player was close to joining Chelsea for € 25 million in summer 2016 as well but due to a serious knee injury his move to the Stamford Bridge collapsed. Chelsea will announce the signing of Rudiger in the next few hours, as soon as the player completes his medical with the Premier League giants.
