    Talking to calciomercato.com’s Emanuele Tramacere from Milan’s ATA Hotel Executive, Bologna Sporting Director Pantaleo Corvino has revealed the reason why both Andrea Ranocchia and Jonathan Calleri did not sign with the Felsinei despite being strongly linked with Dall’Ara move ahead of the January window.

    “Ranocchia was just too expensive. He could have be an interesting option but we have a budget to respect and his salary was too expensive for our finances.”

    “As far as Calleri is concerned, he did not join us because negotiations took too long to be completed. We preferred signing an important striker as Sergio Floccari instead.”
