Roma join Juventus in hunt for Sevilla star Banega
Today’s Messaggero reports that Ever Banega is also wanted by AS Roma.
The Argentine talent’s contract with Sevilla runs out in the summer of 2018, but Sevilla are hardly known for turning down interesting offers, as the Bacca deal last summer proved.
Roma have found some balance in their midfield this season, but are relying on ageing players in Daniele De Rossi and Seydou Keita.
With William Vainqueur playing well in the very little time he’s had in Serie A but failing to impress on the European stage, a player like Banega (who has played at that level with both Sevilla and Valencia) could be a good fit.
