Roma: Juventus have made no offer for £26.5m Liverpool target

Roma have no intention of selling Leandro Paredes to Juventus, and won’t comment their courtship of Franck Kessie.

Speaking before Roma lost 3-2 to Sampdoria at the Marassi, a disappointing defeat that has allowed Juventus to go four points clear.

“I can’t comment on Kessie’,” CEO Mauro Baldissoni told Premium Sport (via CM), “we’re only focussed on the Sampdoria game”.

He also claims that Juventus’ recently-published interest in Liverpool target Leandro Paredes is fiction.

“Paredes leaving? We never talk about transfer indiscretions.

“Luckily there are only two days until the end of current window.

“We haven’t received any official offers for him. We need to proceed on our road”.

We reported this morning that Liverpool were interested in Paredes, who has struggled to earn regular playing time, starting only six Serie A games this season.

This morning’s edition of the Sun claimed that the Reds were ready to make a £26.5 million.
