Roma are close to Brazilian striker Nilmar from Villarreal, the player’s agent revealed. The former Internacional player will be sold following the club’s elimination from Champions League.

“I can only say that we are negotiating at full speed and I am confident to complete the deal with Roma,” agent Orlando Da Hora told Super Deporte.

The 27-year-old forward several expressed his desire to leave his current club and this season has been quite disappointing for him due to injuries and lack of quality in front of the net.

Roma have been following him since last summer and will be delighted to finally sign him.
