Roma are still interested in Brazilian striker Nilmar, but Villarreal are unwilling to sell during the January transfer window. According to the player’s agent, the Giallorossi have once again enquired about the 27-year-old striker.

Nilmar would welcome a move to the Olimpico but the Spanish outfit will not agree to sell just yet considering that Giuseppe Rossi is out injured.

The Brazilian has scored two goals in four games this term with an overall of 31 goals since joining Villarreal in 2009. Nilmar has also netted nine goals in 23 appearances with Brazil.
