Edin Dzeko’s miserable season continues after the Roma striker was injured after 21 minutes playing for Bosnia against Spain on Sunday. The 30-year-old looked to aggravate his knee when he motioned to the bench that he needed to come off. Later, Bosnian outlet Sports.ba showed damage to the ligaments in his right knee, the same injury he picked up playing for his club against Carpi last term. If it is the same injury, he will need to rest up for a month and this could impact on his value in the transfer market.
 

Dzeko is committed to finding a club where he can revive his career after a stop-start season in the capital. His agent was recently contacted by Galatasaray and from the Premier League there are voices coming from Everton as they look to replace Belgian international Romelu Lukaku whose departure looks imminent.
