Roma youngster Sanabria approached by Barca, Leicester City!

Antonio Sanabria is at the centre of quite the transfer market battle. Currently in the United States with Paraguay's national team, the youngster has pretty much been given the green light to play elsewhere next season.

Simply put, Roma (and Luciano Spalletti) have other plans, and the €4.5 million January 2014 signing is now being chased by former club Barcelona. Sanabria once learned his trade in its world-famous cantera, and obviously likes La Liga, having netted 11 goals on loan to Sporting de Gijon this season.

This explains why Sport have gone as far as to put him on their front page: the Catalans' Coach, Luis Enrique, want an alternative to the MSN, someone to play to stop the three South American tenors from getting too tired.

Their first target is Nolito, who is reluctant to play as a reserve, and Celta don't want to sell anyway.

Barca's Director of Sport, Robert Fernandez, has already contacted Roma, and has been told that €13m should do the trick.

Someone else, however, has entered the fray: Leicester City, who even before the sale of Jamie Vardy entered the fray, making Roma an €11m offer.
