    ROMANO: all about Joao Mario's transfer

    The one for Joao Mario is one of the toughest negotiation that Inter Milan have been trying to carry out in the last years. The Portuguese international is the nerazzurri’s main target; the Suning group loves him and so does the executive board. The Lombard club and Sporting CP are about to reach an agreement, but they still have to talk about the mode of the transfer and the exact transfer fee.

    The famous middleman Kia Joorabchian is in Lisbon to work on the definitive agreement: the Leoes are trying to obtain €50 million including bonuses, while Inter are offering €40 million plus bonuses, for a total amount of €45 million. Moreover, the parties have agreed on a loan with obligation to buy, but they haven’t decided yet the timing of the payments.

    However, the 23-year-old has already made a decision about his future: one month ago, after that his transfer to San Siro via Jiangsu Suning failed, he told his current club that he wanted either a much higher salary or a new chance to join the nerazzurri; on the other hand, Joorabchian has convinced Inter that the youngster deserved an important investment.
