Ronaldo coy on Man United GK joining Real

Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to provide any insight into whether Real Madrid will pursue their courtship of David De Gea.

Speaking to Goal, the Portuguese superstar was noncommittal about rumours linking the Galacticos to the Manchester United shotstopper, who is being repeatedly linked with a move to Spain.

“Keylor Navas is Real Madrid’s goalkeeper,” Ronaldo confirmed.

“David De Gea is great, but he's at Manchester United.”

De Gea was most recently linked to a €70 million move to the Bernabéu, with Real being asked by Jose Mourinho for two big names in return - reported to be Alvaro Morata and Raphaël Varane.

“Fifty thousand names are brought up every summer, but they're almost always the same ones.

"You talk of fifty players but only one or two will join next season, no more."

De Gea has emerged as one of the Premier League’s best shotstoppers, and has been reportedly interested in returning to his home country.
