Rumour: Napoli target former Juventus ace to replace Higuain?

Which striker would you buy with € 94.7 million available? That’s the question Napoli chiefs are asking themselves after that Juventus have informed them they want to meet Gonzalo Higuain’s release clause.

Carlos Bacca and Mauro Icardi top the partenopei’s wish-list. According to Sky Italia, Napoli’s € 20 million offer plus El Kaddouri has been rejected by AC Milan that will only sell the Colombian striker for € 30 million (already offered by West Ham), whist the path to sign Icardi seems pretty complicated as Inter have already refused Juventus’ € 50 million bid.

According to Alfredopedulla.com, Napoli have also added former Old Lady star Carlos Tevez on their shopping list. The Apache could leave Boca Juniors one year after his return at the Bombobera and his Serie A return is not supposed to be an expensive one even if Tevez’s economic requests could go beyond Napoli’s economic resources having the Argentinean requested a £ 250.000-a-week salary to West Ham (more than € 14 million a year).
