Sampdoria on Schick but Roma raise their offer

Sampdoria dreams of signing Patrick Schick, one of the emerging talents of Czech football but they are not the only club, because many more are following the promising young striker from Sparta Prague.

According to the Secolo XIX Samp has already started negotiations and the 20-year-old seems keen on a move to the port city. Last season, he was on-loan to Bohemians and he has already refused a move to Roma as he only wants to move to a club that will give him regular first team opportunities. At €2.5 million offer is believed to be enough to close the deal.

The Giallorossi, however, have not given up the chase; according to Alfredo Pedullà, Sabatini will make another assault within the next few hours and the capital club are believed to be ready to raise their offer to around €3.5 million (then send the player on-loan to Samp) despite Sparta holding out for €5 million.
