Italian international Angelo Palombo could be leaving Sampdoria in the January transfer window with the likes of Juventus, Palermo and Fiorentina interested in his services.

The Blucerchiati are struggling in Serie B this term and the prospect of spending another season in the Cadetti is not an appealing one. Furthermore, Sampdoria could be looking to cash in on the 30-year-old player who has been often sidelined over the past year.

CM.com confirms that Palermo have already enquired and the Rosanero have a good relationship with the Garrone family . However, the player wouldn’t be too happy to move to Sicily.

Juventus are looking at Riccardo Montolivo as a backup for Andrea Pirlo, but if that deal didn’t go ahead the Bianconeri could focus their attention on Palombo.

The negotiations for Montolivo are strictly linked to Palombo also considering that Fiorentina could make a move for the tireless midfielder if they were to sell Montolivo in January.
