    Roma won the first Derby della Capitale of the season to move back to within four points of leaders Juventus. In another bad tempered affair at the Stadio Olimpico, giallorossi midfielder Kevin Strootman capitalised on a mistake by Lazio defender Wallace to put his side ahead on 64 minutes. This sparked unsavoury scenes which eneded in Ctaldi being sent off from the substitutes bench.

    The match was effectively sealed 13 minutes later when Belgian international Radja Nainggolan fired home a goal good enough to win this or any  other derby encounter.
