Serie A Matchday 15: Top 5 performances of the weekend

There were many solid performances this past week as all eyes were on the Stadio Olimpico of Rome for the Roman derby. Roma eventually won the game 2-0 and at the same time, Juventus and Milan respectively won their games too. Napoli beat Inter in the big Friday game as this week was jam packed with action.

Here is our list of the top 5 performances of Matchday 15 (Via Whoscored) :

    5- Pepe Reina: Napoli-Inter : Whoscored rating : 8.4

Pepe Reina did commit a few mistakes early on in the season but he has been great of late. Napoli won their game 3-0 in part due to Reina's performance.

    4- Miralem Pjanic: Juventus-Atalanta: Whoscored rating : 8.6

Pjanic has been instrumental this season for Juve, especially considering Pogba's departure and Marchsio's injury. He put in another terrific display as he racked up two assists on the night.

    3- Piotr Zielinski : Napoli-InterWhoscored rating: 8.9

Zielinski scored early on against Inter and his goal ended up being the match winner. He was very good all night as Inter had a hard time marking him.

    2- Radja Nainggolan : Lazio-Roma : Whoscored rating: 9.2

Roma beat Lazio 2-0 in the Roman derby as Nainggolan scored the second goal for Roma. He was very precise all game long as his levels of energy and grit were evident.

    1- Mario Mandzukic : Juventus-Atalanta: Whoscored rating: 9.4

Mandzukic had a game for himself. He scored a goal in Juve's win
against Atalanta but he was also a constant menace and held up play perfectly for Juve all game long. He is our top performer of the week.
