Serie A Matchday 37: Top 5 performances of the weekend
There were many solid performances this past week in Matchday 37 of the Italian Serie A as Juventus won the league title thanks to their win versus Crotone.

5- Mohamed Salah: Chievo vs Roma: Whoscored rating: 8.8 :
Roma and Chievo combined to score 8 goals as Roma finally won the game by a 5-3 score. Mohamed Salah came up big as he scored 2 goals.
4- Andrea Masiello: Empoli vs Atalanta: Whoscored rating: 8.9:
Atalanta are having an amazing season thanks to key young rising star players like Kessié, Caldara, Conti, Spinazzola and others but veterans like Gomez (who has had an amazing season) and Masiello have done well too. This was a solid game by Masiello as he made two goal-line clearances in Atalanta's 1-0 win versus Empoli.
3- Edin Dzeko : Chievo vs Roma: Whoscored rating: 9.2 :
Dzeko is having an amazing season as he scored another goal against Chievo Verona in Roma's win. He is leading the Serie A in goals with 28.
2- Francesco Magnanelli: Sassuolo vs Cagliari: Whoscored rating : 9.4 :
This was a solid game by Sassuolo as they beat Cagliari by a 6-2 score. Magnanelli bossed the midfield around as he ended the game with one goal and a goal line clearance.
1- Dries Mertens: Napoli vs Fiorentina: Whoscored rating : 9.9:
This was another vintage performance by Mertens who has been on fire this season. He scored two goals and added one assists in Napoli's big win versus Fiorentina. He now has 27 Serie A goals on the season (1 less than Dzeko) as they have both been fantastic. He is our performer of the week.
