Marco Giampaolo’s side won the derby of Genoa for 2-1 last week, before being trashed 4-1 in an away Serie A game by table leaders Juventus on Wednesday night.
Good performances at the end of the season have not matched positive results for Sampdoria that sit 16th in the table, five points above the relegation area.
On the eve of the game, Inter boss Frank De Boer told media that he wants to see the same spirit that the team showed against Torino on Wednesday night, when the nerazzuri managed a 2-1 win that probably secured De Boer’s job at the Meazza.
Ivan Perisic is set to be benched with Eder starting in place of the Croatian winger. Yuto Nagatomo should start as left-back, with Cristian Ansaldi in the other edge of the pitch.
