    A survey carried out by La Gazzettta dello Sport has listed the total gross amount that each Serie A club will spend on their players salaries this season. The total amount falls just under the €1 billion mark at €985 million; just over €100 million more than last season. It still falls short of the highest total ever recorded, which was €1 .1 billion five years ago. 

    TOP XI - Eight of the top 11 earners in Serie A play for Juventus, with the exceptions being Roma duo Daniele De Rossi & Edin Dzeko along with Inter striker Mauro Icardi. The top earning coach is Juve's Max Allegri.

    Buffon (4 million); Dani Alves (8,5), Bonucci (3,5), Chiellini (3,5), Alex Sandro (2,8); Pjanic (4,5), De Rossi (6,5), Khedira (4); Icardi (3,6), Higuain (7,5), Dzeko (4,5). Coach. Allegri (5 million).
