Sino-Europe confirm closing date for AC Milan acquisition

Chinese consortium Sino-Europe Sports have confirmed that the closing date for the acquisition of AC Milan has been scheduled for the 13th of December.

AC Milan’s buyers have confirmed the closing date denying that there have been problems in completing the club’s takeover due to Chinese authorities’ reluctance to finalize the deal.

Sino-Europe have already paid a deposit of € 100 million and need to pay € 420 million to acquire the 99.4% stakes in the Serie A club.

AC Milan have scheduled two shareholders meeting next month. The first one has been scheduled for the 2nd of December, the second one on the 13th, which is exactly when the deal will be ratified and new Chinese owners will take over at the club after 30 years of Silvio Berlusconi’s presidency.

“Sino Europe confirm that the closing date for AC Milan’s acquisition is the 13th of December, on the same date of the club’s shareholders meeting.”
