Taiwo: ‘I am leaving Milan’
Taye Taiwo is unsettled in Milan and could leave the Rossoneri only six months after moving to San Siro on a free transfer from Marseille.
The Nigerian full-back has several admirers including Newcastle, Galatasaray and Montpellier but Milan want 5M Euros for the player.
“I am struggling more and more each day I spend here because I haven’t been given the chance to prove myself,” Taiwo told L’Equipe.
“I came here to do well but spent most of the time on the bench playing only six games. Sometimes I don’t even get to sit on the bench, but I need to play with consistency in order to do my best.
“Maybe it’s because I don’t know how it works in Italy, but clearly I do not have the faith of Massimiliano Allegri. I won’t be myself if I had to accept things as they are,” concluded Taiwo.
