Talks ongoing between AC Milan and Bundesliga star: latest updates

Talks between AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen for Hakan Calhanoglu are currently ongoing with the rossoneri who are trying to reach an agreement with the club and its star winger.

The Turkish attacking midfielder has been offered a € 2.5 million a year deal and although the player would prefer to have a higher salary, AC Milan representatives believe that an agreement with the 23-year-old is just around the corner.

According to our Alessandro Di Gioia, AC Milan have offered € 22 million to sign Calhanoglu but Leverkusen’s asking price is close to € 30 million. Yet again, AC Milan hope to finalize the player’s acquisition for a free close to € 25 million.

Meantime, Fabio Borini will have the second part of his medical completed today. The Italian is set to join AC Milan for € 6 million plus add-ons and an official announcement is expected to be released today.
