The four Manchester United outcasts who could end up playing in Serie A in January

José Mourinho is going through hard times at Manchester United. The Special One is struggling to stay in touch with the Premier League table’s top spots and he’s going to face his rival Pep Guardiola tonight in key League Cup clash against Manchester City.

The Portuguese tactician, however, is not the only one struggling at the Old Trafford this term. The former Real Madrid and Inter boss has sidelined several big names since his arrival in the red side of Manchester: Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay are set to leave the club in the January window having just played a handful of games so far this season.

Wayne Rooney is also said to be on his way out of the Old Trafford.

Serie A sides are looking with interest at the situation at Manchester United as some of these players could be moving to Italy in the winter window.

Darmian is believed to be a top target of Inter as the nerazzurri will be looking to signing at least one new fullback in January. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Wayne Rooney are also on Inter’s shortlist, even if their wages are not in line with Inter’s financial policies.

Depay, on the other hand, is a transfer target of AC Milan. The rossoneri are looking to add some depth to their squad, especially on the wings as current second-choice wingers can’t fill the boots of regular starters M’Baye Niang and Suso.
