The mother of Ranieri: "Little respect at Roma"

The mother of Claudio Ranieri has been speaking to La Repubblica.

When asked about her son’s Premier League win, she actually stated that; “He also won at Roma but I’m sorry that he had to go. Probably he wasn’t treated with respect in this city.”

IN ENGLAND HE HAS BEEN REBORN
96-year-old Renata was asked about her feelings on Monday evening when she knew her son was a champion, she explained that; “At the end of the (Spurs v Chelsea) game I cried. I only heard from Claudio later as I was calling the grandchildren and cousins. We were overjoyed and now we can relax”. She then added that; “He calls me every evening to keep me up to date with what is happening. I never expected him to win but he says that the players he has are brave boys and are true professionals”.
When asked about his time in England she replied; “He’s been treated well, I was sorry how it ended with Roma; we are all fans of the club and when he worked there we were always guests. But now he is the King of England and we’ve had congratulations from all over the world to which I thank you all.
