The three Serie A stars scouted by Atletico Madrid during Napoli-Inter

Today’s edition of Il Mattino reports that Atletico Madrid’s director of sport Andrea Berta was at Naples’ San Paolo stadium on Friday night to scout three players under contract with Napoli. According to the report of the Italian paper, the LaLiga giants are interested in signing Faozi Ghoulam, Lorenzo Insigne and Manolo Gabbiadini and the Italian director of sport of the colchoneros went to the San Paolo to monitor the three Napoli stars.

Ghoulam, 25, is also a transfer target of Chelsea, but the Blues’ and the Colchoneros’ interest is going to be warded off by the player’s decision to extend his stay at the club signing a contract extension.

Lorenzo Insigne, 25, netted the third goal in Napoli’s 3-0 win over Inter last week-end and his latest performances are definitely impressing all the potential bidders interested in signing the talented winger who has yet to find agreement with is club over a contract extension despite the two parties being negotiating a new deal since last summer.

Manolo Gabbiadini, 25, is one of the Serie A stars who could be on his way out of Napoli in January as the Italian striker is not only struggling with game time, but has also failed to consistently enter the score-sheet  having only netted two goals in 15 appearances so far this season.
