Thiago Motta is incredibly close to Paris Saint-Germain and his agent practically confirmed that the deal will be completed shortly.

“I believe Inter made a mistake,” agent Dario Canovi told Radio Crc.

“It isn’t just about his contract which wasn’t renewed. But mainly they should have given him more credit considering that he is one of the most important players in the team.

“PSG asked for the player’s availability and he is open to it. Tonight’s game could be Thiago’s last with Inter. Carlo Ancelotti was always enthusiastic about my client,” added Canovi.

“I cannot see why Thiago would say no to PSG. Inter now must take their decision.”
