Thohir: 'Inter may need to sell 1-2 players'

Inter owner Erick Thohir has gone on record saying that the Beneamata doesn't need to sell top players in order to stay afloat.

Present at the opening of the New Inter Store, the Nerazzurri president had time to cut the ribbon (see video below) and talk about his future plans for the Nerazzurri.

Having praised Mancini (“he has done a good job”), the Indonesian magnate had this to say about runours that the Beneamata had to sell in order to respect the Financial Fair Play parameters negotiated last summer:

“Handanovic, Brozovic and Murillo are as important as icardi, Medel, Kondogbia and Eder, they're all key, I don't think we can change eight of our eleven starters, but maybe one or two.

"We need to balance the books to respect FFP but that doesn't mean selling top players”.

Massimo Moratti's successor also spoke of Inter's commercial plans: “We're looking for other parnters to help Inter, and to grow the club's presece in the far East, something will happen, we need to keep building both on the sporting and the commercial fronts.

"We want to be competitive both in Italy and in Europe”.
