Torres in Serie A? Juve & Milan on Monzon

Fernando Torres could finally decide to leave the English Premier League in the summer after yet another disappointing season.

The Spanish striker has so far failed to live up to expectations in Stamford Bridge following his £50M move from Liverpool to Chelsea.

Just 18 months after that deal, El Nino is already seen as a problem for the Blues, which are considering getting rid of him in order to sign a top striker like Cavani, Higuain or Soldado.

Inter and Milan are ready to jump in for the former Atletico Madrid ace. Torres could be available for a transfer fee in the region of £20M although Paris Saint-Germain are also following him closely.

    Juve & Milan watch Monzon

Juventus and Milan are after Fabian Monzon, as revealed by the player’s agent to Calciomercato.com.

“I heard about their interest and it may be true,” said agent Marcelo Trapasso. “I have a good relationship with both clubs but so far I received no official offer for my client and neither has Nice.

The Nice defender though is expected to leave Ligue 1 in the summer. “Juve and Milan scouts were in Bern watching him and Serie A would be a good destination for Fabian even if he is happy at his current club,” added the agent.

“I am not surprised by these rumours, but at the moment there are no offers on the table.”

    Udinese hire Trombetta

The Bianconeri have strengthened their backroom with the signing of former Cluj manager Maurizio Trombetta.

Trombetta returns to Italy after a spell in Romania in charge of both Cluj and Targu Mures. Trombetta has also been in charge of the Reggina youth sector.

So the collaboration between Francesco Guidolin and Trombetta continues, since the new Bianconeri coach has already been an assistant of the former Palermo boss.
